Hugs to All!

Thank you all for the comments and craft love! I so enjoy hearing from everyone.
This little blog community has enriched my life so much.
God bless each and every one of you!

So sorry that the link for the bird pattern hasn't worked.
Let me try that again.
The direct website is: www.spoolsewing.com and the pattern is on the blog.
Here is the direct link to the pattern: http://www.spoolsewing.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/birdpattern1-1.pdf
And finally, here is the link to the post that shows the fabulous mobile that inspired me to make my own little creation: http://www.spoolsewing.com/blog/2008/05/16/bird-mobile/
I just decided to put the links directly into the text of this post, so hopefully they will work this time around.
If you decide to make your own, I would love to see pictures. So please let me know.

The last four months or so have been very prolific for me when it comes to crafting...maybe in the whole of my life. I can't believe how much I have made and have been able to give as little presents. Plus, my Christmas gift stash is steadily growing. I will be so happy come December. And I am just enjoying making the projects, more then I have in the past. Maybe my little shadow Elijah has a lot to do with it. He sits in the pink rocking chair while I sit at the sewing machine. Or he dances around to the beat the machine makes as it whirs along making stitches. I show him everything I'm doing and tell him about it. At times I feel like I am on some sort of TV craft show...it's great fun. I like having a craft buddy. I also love to show David what I have made. He's not really into crafting, but, it is his opinon I value above all others. He's always honest. So that has increased my inspiration too. I only wish I had more energy and time to do it all.
For those of you that are feeling inspired go to the Domestic Bliss blog and sign up for a fabulous swap. Fall is on its way and with it comes back to school fun! The delightful ladies at Domestic Bliss are coordinating a paperie swap of school supply goodness. Go sign up, you will enjoy it immensely. They used a favorite movie line of mine:
"If I knew your name and address,I would send you a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils."
- Tom Hanks in You've Got Mail
That is this swap in a nutshell. How can you resist now?
Hugs!

Hi Sarah! I'm sorry it has been so long between your sweet comment and my answer ... but, as for cloth diapering we recently switched (or are in the process of switching) to all pre-folds as I've found it is cheaper with two in diapers at the same time ... but, that said, I have purchased and loved Bum Genius diapers in the past. They really are the closest thing to the ease of a disposable and we never had a problem with leaks, either. The only think I didn't like was that I like snaps over velcro or aplix closures ... but other than that, I thought they were terrific!

Good luck with your cloth diapering and happy baby wishes to you! :-)

Breakfast consisted of one very large pancake, scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Needless to say I didn't really eat anything else that day!

Love the craftiness!
